In a unexpected collaboration that breaks traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of prohibited practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret cult.

The mission centers on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside several objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
